Harness is seeking a high-performing Commercial Counsel to join our global Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This role involves leading complex enterprise SaaS transactions and strategic partnership agreements, focusing on Fortune 500 customers and highly regulated industries. The Commercial Counsel will play a pivotal role in defining how Harness brings its AI-powered software delivery tools to market.

Key responsibilities include driving end-to-end negotiations for complex enterprise SaaS transactions, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Deal Operations to streamline the sales cycle, navigating international regulatory frameworks to support global expansion, and developing training for GTM and Sales teams to handle legal inquiries and build trust in our terms.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of legal experience, ideally beginning at a top-tier law firm followed by an in-house SaaS role. A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and corresponding sales cycle is essential. The candidate should be adept at value negotiations, possess an operational mindset to build efficient processes, and hold a JD from an accredited law school with active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
