The Compliance Analyst role is situated within the US Compliance team, based in the New York office, and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's operations adhere to regulatory standards. In this role, the Compliance Analyst will support the US Compliance team across the full compliance program, including testing and monitoring. Key responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis on compliance issues and incidents, investigating and responding to escalated customer complaints, preparing and tracking compliance reporting for the bank partner, management, and regulatory bodies, reviewing marketing materials, and assisting in maintaining and drafting policies and procedures. Additionally, the analyst will contribute to program enhancements, controls development, and ad-hoc compliance projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in financial services, with a background in compliance testing and monitoring, audit, or a related control function. Strong attention to detail, solid writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. The role also requires strong project management skills, familiarity with UDAAP, ECOA, small business lending, and credit card servicing, and proficiency in SQL is a plus.

Compensation for this role includes a salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually. Benefits offered are comprehensive, featuring 90% of healthcare premiums paid by New Wave Card, LP, a 401k match program (100% match up to 3% and 50% up to 5%), 25 days of paid time off, 5 days of sick pay, and a $1,200 learning and wellbeing budget.
