Compliance Analyst, Expert Network

AlphaSense is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the daily compliance operations of its Expert Network platform. This role is integral to ensuring that expert engagements adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. The Compliance Analyst will collaborate closely with the Compliance, Legal, Product, Customer Operations, and Commercial teams to maintain the integrity of the Expert Network.

Key responsibilities include reviewing prospective experts for client projects to identify potential compliance issues, conducting expert onboarding and compliance assessments, and providing guidance to sourcing teams on compliance requirements. The analyst will also support client-specific compliance needs, respond to inquiries, assist with due diligence requests, and maintain accurate records of compliance activities. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in compliance, legal, operations, customer support, financial services, or a related field. A strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients are essential. Familiarity with compliance concepts relevant to expert networks, such as confidentiality, material non-public information (MNPI), and insider trading considerations, is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.
