Compliance Investigator
As a Compliance Investigator at Everpure, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the company's integrity by conducting thorough investigations into potential ethics, fraud, and regulatory risks. This position is based in Santa Clara, California, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Audit, to ensure Everpure's operations adhere to the highest standards of corporate responsibility and trust.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end investigative process, from intake and scoping to execution, for global compliance matters. You will conduct interviews with subjects and witnesses, perform detailed document reviews, and analyze financial and behavioral data to identify root causes of misconduct. Synthesizing complex findings into clear, objective reports for Legal stakeholders will be essential, as will recommending remediation strategies and control improvements. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Everpure's compliance infrastructure, ensuring investigative standards remain exemplary.
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in forensic accounting, internal investigations, or professional services, with a keen ability to identify third-party risks and fraudulent patterns. Exceptional analytical skills are required to navigate large datasets and documents, utilizing technology-enabled tools to connect disparate facts into cohesive narratives. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for summarizing complex findings to executive stakeholders, coupled with the discretion to handle highly sensitive, confidential information. A solid understanding of financial records and business processes is also important to identify anomalies in transactional data and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $126,000 USD, with potential eligibility for incentive pay and/or equity.
