Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer will be an integral part of client teams, collaborating with Senior Compliance Officers, Compliance Associates, and Analysts to provide exceptional compliance services. This role offers extensive client interaction, fostering deep knowledge of client businesses to deliver proactive and tailored compliance solutions.
Key responsibilities include conducting critical compliance monitoring and testing of client programs, drafting annual compliance review reports, updating compliance manuals, and preparing other essential documents. The Compliance Officer will analyze and summarize new regulatory developments, develop and deliver compliance training and tools, and participate in industry events and client development activities. Collaboration with senior management and other compliance professionals within CORE is essential to expand expertise in the private fund industry and investment adviser regulatory requirements.
Candidates must possess 3-10 years of compliance and regulatory experience, particularly with the Investment Advisers Act and federal securities laws, along with a strong understanding of the private fund industry and the unique compliance needs of private fund managers. The role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive and diligent work ethic, and the ability to effectively lead client meetings and represent CORE professionally. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple client engagements concurrently are crucial. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to train and develop Compliance Associates and Analysts.
