Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist at ABC Legal Services plays a crucial role within the Process Server Development team, ensuring that service events adhere to court and customer requirements, as well as the company's guidelines. ABC Legal Services is a national leader in service of process, with a team of over 1,000 employees and offices in multiple cities, including Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Washington DC. In this role, the Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing service events submitted by process servers to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. The specialist provides education and instruction to process servers regarding service standards, investigates service complaints, creates detailed investigation reports, updates and analyzes process server review records, performs required audits of process server logbooks, and audits service event histories. Additional job-related duties may be assigned as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. While 6-12 months of relevant experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Preferred qualifications include writing experience in a professional or higher education environment, excellent written communication skills, the ability to take concise and effective notes, attention to detail, the capacity to learn a large amount of new information quickly, proficiency in training and working remotely using Microsoft Teams, and experience with Microsoft Office.
