Construction Project Manager
Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, scheduling, and execution of assigned construction projects. This role works closely with field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
This position focuses on project execution and coordination and does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall project administration, scheduling, and coordination from start to closeout
Maintain responsibility for project safety, quality control, and financial performance
Prepare and manage submittals, subcontracts, and CPM schedules
Track project progress using updated schedules, as-built drawings, and quantity reports
Prepare and submit project billings and monitor cost performance
Attend and participate in project coordination and progress meetings
Coordinate activities with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Develop change order pricing and submit proposals to clients
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation
Review contract documents and construction drawings to identify issues and conflicts
Prepare RFIs and recommend practical solutions
Clarify plans and specifications for field personnel as needed
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Communicate regularly with field teams and management regarding project status
Support special assignments and stakeholder requests as required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 7 years of heavy civil construction project management experience, with substantial experience in the U.S. market
Strong background in public infrastructure projects
Experience with roadway, utility, and structural civil construction
