Contracts Attorney

The Contracts Attorney will play a pivotal role in supporting MIE's expanding software business by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial agreements with both prospective and existing customers. This position requires close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive teams to ensure timely contract execution while safeguarding the company's legal and business interests.
Ideal candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in commercial contract law, particularly in drafting and negotiating SaaS or enterprise software agreements, is essential. Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, risk management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Familiarity with privacy and data security provisions, including HIPAA and GDPR, is preferred.
