Contracts Manager
The Contracts Manager at Baker McKenzie will oversee the full lifecycle of the firm's worldwide technology acquisitions, from setting sourcing strategies to ongoing contract and vendor management. This role ensures that the firm's budget is utilized efficiently through optimal supply chain management under favorable terms and conditions. The position is based in Belfast, offering a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities include partnering with core stakeholders to identify savings opportunities across technology categories, creating and negotiating contracts for technology-related products and services, and managing key enterprise agreements such as those with Microsoft and network cloud solutions. The Contracts Manager will also oversee procurement components of the firm's key initiatives, manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to contract terms and service level agreements, and leverage technology and data analytics to enhance strategic client development.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business development and client relationship management within an international law firm or professional services environment. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and analytical skills are essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to build and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships across the global organization.
