Copywriter
The Copywriter at Topstep plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's presence across all trader-facing channels. This position is central to the Brand and Marketing team, collaborating closely with Trader Experience, Product, Communications, and Brokerage departments to ensure consistent, accurate, and engaging messaging that resonates with traders and drives action.
Key responsibilities include crafting clear and compelling trader-facing emails for product launches, policy updates, feature announcements, and program changes. The Copywriter will manage blog content that educates traders on market concepts, trading strategies, and the Topstep platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement. Additionally, the role involves contributing to go-to-market campaigns, video scripts, paid advertisements, and product launch messaging from initial brief to final delivery. Writing copy for the brokerage side of the business in compliance with NFA regulatory guidelines is also a critical aspect of the position.
Candidates should have at least one year of professional copywriting experience with published work across email, social media, blog, or campaign formats. Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format across various channels while maintaining the brand voice are essential. A genuine understanding of Topstep's mission and its traders is important, along with familiarity with trading concepts, futures markets, or proprietary firm culture. The ability to work under NFA compliance guidelines for regulated brokerage content, or a willingness to learn and apply them consistently, is required. Attention to detail, creativity, and strong collaboration skills are also key competencies for this role.
Topstep offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
