Corporate Associate - ECVC

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Venture Capital and Technology group in the Atlanta office. This role offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to become part of a thriving practice within an AmLaw100 firm. The team is recognized for its top rankings in Global League Tables, representing fast-growing venture-backed technology and life sciences companies, as well as the funds that invest in them.

As a Corporate Associate in this group, you will work closely with a team of attorneys based in Atlanta, Miami, and New York City, engaging in a global practice. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. You will be expected to provide strategic advice to emerging companies and venture capital clients, ensuring compliance and facilitating growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting, with a strong preference for emerging company and venture capital experience. You should possess strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, and have excelled academically. Admission to and good standing with the Georgia Bar is required.

Nelson Mullins offers a competitive salary range of $230,000 to $270,000 annually, along with performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
