Corporate Counsel

The Corporate Counsel will play a pivotal role within the legal team, providing strategic legal guidance and support across various business units, including the Digital Procurement Network (DPN), Software as a Service (SaaS), Supply Chain Consulting, and other food service verticals.
The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contract creation, negotiation, and execution, particularly focusing on DPN, SaaS, Supply Chain, Consulting, and related agreements. This role involves conducting comprehensive legal analyses to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and finance to provide timely legal guidance. Additionally, the Corporate Counsel will develop and implement efficient contract management processes and contribute to the enhancement of standard contract templates.
The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and possess an active license to practice law in Massachusetts, Illinois, or Florida. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a corporate or transactional attorney, preferably with commercial contracting experience either in-house or at a top law firm, is required. The candidate should have a strong background in corporate law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
