Corporate Infrastructure Engineer III

Wolt is seeking an experienced Corporate Infrastructure Engineer III to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role focuses on building and scaling systems to support a fully automated infrastructure, leveraging various technologies. The position involves close collaboration with teams across Wolt and DoorDash, including Security, IT, Network Engineering, and Enterprise Systems.

The Corporate Infrastructure Engineer III will be responsible for running and maintaining corporate infrastructure hosted in AWS, administering infrastructure deployment tools, and building high-quality, scalable systems with cross-functional teams. The role requires critical thinking, adaptability to rapidly changing directions, and effective planning to handle multiple competing priorities. Additionally, the engineer will navigate existing technologies and quickly learn and adapt to new ones, making recommendations for the improvement and development of IT systems.

Candidates should have over four years of experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role, with demonstrated proficiency in Python, Bash, and other scripting fundamentals. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP systems/tools is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for more than two years is required, along with over two years of experience working with microservices. An understanding of the importance of monitoring and observability, with experience in tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog, or Splunk, is also necessary. Additionally, experience in configuration management and security management is expected.
