Corporate Litigation Counsel
Arrive Logistics is seeking a Corporate Litigation Counsel to manage a diverse litigation docket, representing the company's interests in personal injury, cargo claims, commercial disputes, employment, and other litigation matters. Reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Counsel, this role is integral to our legal team, ensuring robust legal strategies align with our business objectives.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the company's litigation portfolio from initial claim investigation through resolution, conducting risk analyses, and developing litigation strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders. The Corporate Litigation Counsel will manage discovery processes, coordinate with outside counsel, and provide regular reporting on case statuses and exposures. Additionally, this role involves advising on labor and employment matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school and be licensed to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction, preferably Texas or Illinois. A minimum of 2-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is required, with a strong preference for experience in transportation law. Candidates should demonstrate strong legal research and drafting skills, the ability to manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
