Corporate (M&A) Solicitor / Senior Solicitor

Chapman Tripp's Wellington Corporate team is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and capital raising. As part of a market-leading national Corporate practice, the team advises major New Zealand and international clients on high-profile transactions across various industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex M&A deals, providing strategic advice on private equity investments, and assisting clients with capital raising initiatives. Your day-to-day work will involve drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and collaborating closely with clients to achieve their commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, with a strong background in corporate law, particularly in M&A, private equity, and capital markets. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
