AgWest Farm Credit is seeking a Corporate Paralegal - Commercial Lending to join our Loan and Lien Document Administration department in Spokane, Washington. This full-time role involves analyzing and certifying borrower entity documentation to support loan origination and servicing. AgWest Farm Credit is a member-owned financial cooperative serving farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, and other rural clients across seven western states, and is part of the Farm Credit System.

The Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating borrower entity documentation to validate formation, good standing, and authority to execute loan documents. This includes analyzing organizational documents to identify material issues affecting loan documentation enforceability and providing recommended remediation pathways. The role also involves partnering with attorneys on complex matters, interacting with lending staff to resolve certification issues, and preparing internal entity certification forms and custom borrowing authorizations.

Candidates should possess an associate’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience, along with prior paralegal or loan documentation experience. A demonstrated knowledge of business entities—such as corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and trusts—and experience reviewing organizational and formation documents are essential. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, effective written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail are also required.

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington, is $53,600 to $90,400 for Level I and $66,200 to $99,900 for Level II, with annual performance-based incentive targets of 8% and 10% of base salary, respectively.
