Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

The United Firm is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join their Los Angeles office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an admitted attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a reputable firm. The Associate Attorney will report directly to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and will collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

In this position, the Associate Attorney will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in pretrial hearings. Additional duties include managing court appearances, trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research. The role also involves analyzing case outcomes, managing caseloads, gathering evidence, and preparing clients for depositions.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience handling criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional client service are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
