Crypto Analyst (Market & Technical Research)
The Crypto Analyst at Hyphen Connect will conduct in-depth market and technical research to provide insights into crypto markets, blockchain technologies, and various Web3-related technologies. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to drive research initiatives and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in the Web3 space.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing crypto market trends, such as price movements, trading volumes, risks, and market sentiment, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize investment or strategic decisions. The analyst will identify emerging projects, tokens, and blockchain protocols with high growth potential, conduct in-depth research on the Web3 market, technologies, blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications (dApps). Additionally, the role involves designing and conducting experiments, simulations, and analyses to explore and evaluate innovative solutions, developing and implementing novel algorithms, models, and methodologies to address technical challenges in the blockchain space, contributing to open-source projects, and actively engaging with the blockchain research community. Providing thought leadership and technical content efforts for the blockchain community and staying updated on the latest advancements, academic papers, and industry trends in the field of blockchain and Web3 are also essential aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Web3, zero-knowledge proofs (ZK), or distributed systems. A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, market research, or technical analysis in the crypto/Web3 industry is required. The candidate should have a proven track record of conducting market and technical research in the crypto or blockchain space, proficiency in programming languages commonly used in the blockchain ecosystem, such as Solidity, Rust, or Go, and experience with blockchain platforms and frameworks like Ethereum, Polkadot, or Cosmos. Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, and custody solutions, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also necessary.
