Customer Service Agent
MetTel is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to join our Operations team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a global communications solutions provider, MetTel offers a comprehensive suite of managed services focusing on secure connectivity, network, and mobility solutions. This role is integral to delivering exceptional support to our diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
The Customer Service Agent will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email. Responsibilities include supporting orders, service requests, and general account inquiries; troubleshooting service-related issues and submitting repair tickets; processing customer orders and service requests accurately; and documenting all customer interactions in accordance with standard operating procedures. Additionally, the agent will identify trends in customer issues and communicate insights to management, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and a minimum of three years of experience in customer service or account management. Experience within the telecommunications industry is advantageous. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) are also required.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $20, with compensation varying based on work location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities.
