Cybersecurity Engineer
MetTel is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join its Corporate IT Team in New York City. The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing security controls across MetTel's hybrid infrastructure. Key responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, performing penetration testing, managing security incidents, and leading remediation efforts. The role also involves administering enterprise security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners, as well as managing authentication systems and identity management platforms.
Candidates should possess a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in vulnerability and threat management, security platform architecture, and security tools administration. Proficiency in tools like CyberArk, Splunk, OKTA, and Tenable is essential. Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable, along with familiarity with security testing tools like Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Hydra, and Burp.
