Data Analyst II
GoCardless, a global leader in bank payments, is seeking a Data Analyst II to join their Payment Intelligence team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role focuses on enhancing payment performance and safeguarding customers from issues like fraud and payment failures. The team collaborates closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to provide critical insights and drive product development.
As a Data Analyst II, you will partner with various stakeholders, including product, operations, marketing, and commercial teams, to deliver actionable insights that influence organizational decisions. Your responsibilities will include owning and iterating on experiments to generate user insights, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and building models of user segmentation and customer lifetime value. Additionally, you will mentor other members of the organization to foster a data-driven culture and continuously innovate on analytics practices and tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience with large data sets, customer data, and machine learning principles. Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools like Looker, and tracking platforms such as Amplitude is essential. A strong understanding of A/B testing, automation using Python, and AI technologies like Gemini will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are necessary to translate complex technical findings into compelling narratives that influence product roadmaps and executive decision-making.
