Data Analytics Engineer
MarqVision is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Seoul, Korea. As a leading online brand protection solution, we help global brands identify and remove counterfeits and pirated content from over 1,500 platforms and thousands of rogue websites in over 118 countries. In this role, you will be responsible for building and operating scalable data pipelines to support the rapid growth of our services. You will address data consistency issues across relational and NoSQL data sources, design and implement data marts for company-wide metrics and ad-hoc analysis automation, and take ownership of the initial architecture design and implementation during the introduction of large-scale analytics platforms.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer, with proficiency in workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, a deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc.), experience in designing data warehouse layer structures (staging, intermediate, mart), and expertise in optimizing query speed and cost in large-scale database environments. Additionally, experience in proactively resolving data consistency issues across multiple data sources is essential.
Preferred qualifications include practical experience with data modeling using dbt, hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or close collaboration with Data Analysts, experience handling unstructured data such as text and images, experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git), and flexible problem-solving skills to adapt to various situations.
