Data Engineer
Wiz is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Data team in Tel Aviv. As a rapidly growing company dedicated to reinventing cloud security, we empower businesses to thrive in the cloud. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.
In this position, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and catalogs to support our fast-growing products and business groups. You will develop self-service data analytics solutions and infrastructure, support ad hoc needs and requests from internal stakeholders, and collaborate with analysts, engineers, and internal customers from Product, Finance, Revenue, and Marketing.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field or has equivalent hands-on experience in software development or DevOps. You should have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, including end-to-end designing, orchestrating, and building cloud-based data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster. Proficiency in dimensional data modeling and data warehouse implementation with MPP databases such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is essential. Strong knowledge of Python and Python-based data analysis tools, as well as excellent SQL writing skills, are required. Experience with containerization (Docker) and software engineering best practices, including CI/CD concepts, code reviews, and unit testing, is also important.
