Data Processing Specialist
The Data Processing Specialist at Wolt plays a pivotal role within the Merchant Services team, focusing on the day-to-day operations of menu and catalog management. This position ensures that product information on Wolt's platform meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance, contributing to a seamless onboarding experience for merchants. As Wolt continues to expand its offerings, the strength of content management and catalog operations becomes increasingly vital.
Key responsibilities include managing the content and quality of Wolt Germany's product catalog for both retail and restaurant sectors, ensuring offerings are drafted quickly, accurately, and in bulk. The specialist oversees the rapid creation and updating of retail assortments, develops and refines bulk data processing automations, and collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Product, Compliance, and Onboarding to enhance processes and drive compliance.
Candidates should be fluent in both German and English, possess a positive attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Technical proficiency is essential, including experience with Python or JavaScript, a solid command of Excel, and handling large datasets. Familiarity with SQL and browser automations is advantageous. A customer-centric mindset and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments are also important. Understanding of LMIV (Lebensmittel-Informationsverordnung) and food labeling laws in Germany is required.
