Data Protection Paralegal
Prolific is seeking a Data Protection Paralegal to join their Legal and Information Security team. This remote position in the UK offers an opportunity to work on complex data protection challenges within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. In this role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Prolific's data privacy compliance program. Your responsibilities will include handling data subject rights requests, maintaining compliance documentation, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, and providing guidance on data privacy matters. You will collaborate with various teams to embed privacy, transparency, and accountability into the organization's operations.
Candidates should possess a law degree (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL/PGDL), or an equivalent legal qualification. Experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal role is required, with exposure to data privacy matters being advantageous. A solid understanding of UK and EU GDPR and core data protection principles is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels are also important.
