Derivatives Attorney

Axiom Talent Platform is seeking a Derivatives Attorney to join its team, focusing on providing high-quality legal services to financial institutions. As a leading provider of on-demand legal talent, Axiom offers flexible and cost-effective solutions to in-house legal departments, enabling them to scale their teams efficiently.

In this role, the Derivatives Attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex derivatives and trading documentation, including ISDAs, CSAs, MRAs, GMRAs, and MSFTAs. The attorney will manage counterparty negotiations and documentation workflows, supporting various trading products such as futures, equity derivatives, prime brokerage, equity financing, repo, and securities lending. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a preference for candidates based in New York.

Ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in derivatives documentation and counterparty negotiations. A strong background in ISDA, CSA, repo, treasury clearing, and futures agreements is essential, with experience in equity derivatives being particularly valuable. Both licensed attorneys and experienced non-JD negotiators with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply.
