Design Engineer - Electronics

As a Design Engineer specializing in Electronics at Helsing, you will be instrumental in developing innovative mechanical integration solutions for electronic boards, connectors, and harnesses. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the performance and reliability of Helsing's advanced defense systems, aligning with our mission to protect democratic societies through technological leadership.

In this role, you will take ownership of the mechanical design and integration of electronic components and assemblies for complex drone products. Your responsibilities will include creating design concepts for electronic boards and connectors, generating 3D and 2D documentation, ensuring proper form, fit, and function of components using analytical and simulation tools, and defining validation tests to ensure technical maturity.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience in mechanical and electrical design, particularly within aerospace structures or similar applications. Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD and PLM tools, such as SolidWorks/PDM or Siemens NX/Teamcenter, is essential. Strong knowledge of electronic component integration, experience with ECAD/MCAD interfaces, and familiarity with ASME/ISO drawing standards are also required. Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive approach to fast-track developments are highly valued.
