Digital Analyst
WPP Media is seeking a Digital Analyst to join our Data & Technology team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate with internal teams and clients to analyze digital and marketing data, providing strategic insights that drive data-informed decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global media agency committed to creative transformation and delivering exceptional client experiences.
In this position, you will be responsible for auditing, implementing, and maintaining Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) solutions. You will design measurement plans, create tagging guides, and monitor custom event tracking to ensure accurate data collection. Additionally, you will implement Consent Mode and configure Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) to comply with privacy regulations such as GDPR and ePrivacy. Your role will also involve optimizing customer journeys and conversion funnels on high-traffic websites, as well as developing dashboards and reports in Looker Studio to present actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Data Analyst or Digital Analyst, with a strong background in web analytics tools like GA4 and GTM. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and JavaScript for data transformation is essential. A deep understanding of digital metrics, conversion funnels, and online performance is required. Fluency in English is necessary to effectively communicate in our global environment. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a proactive, results-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously are also important.
