Director, Account Management (Corporate)
The Director of Account Management (Corporate) at AlphaSense will lead a team of 8-10 Account Managers, focusing on driving renewals and expanding customer relationships. This role is pivotal in guiding the team to exceed retention targets, uncover growth opportunities, and collaborate closely with Customer Success to deliver long-term client value. Key responsibilities include leading the Account Management team to achieve and surpass renewal targets, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, and working closely with Account Executives to close deals. The Director will drive customer outcomes by improving renewal rates, reducing churn, and expanding revenue through deeper client relationships and increased product adoption. Additionally, the role involves managing revenue growth and forecasting, talent development, and shaping the customer narrative through data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or client success, with at least 5 years in a people management role. Experience with seven-figure deals, strategic account servicing, and renewal negotiations is essential. A strong aptitude for learning, particularly in a technical SaaS environment, is required, along with the ability to operationalize the customer journey. The candidate should be a confident, consultative, and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
The position offers a base compensation range of $152,000 to $190,000 USD annually, with potential for performance-based bonuses, equity, and a generous benefits program.
