Director, Asset Management (Engineering and Finance)

The Director of Asset Management at Hut 8 is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and financial performance of the company's energy infrastructure and data center portfolio. This position focuses on maximizing the value of physical assets through capital allocation, operational and contractual optimization, and long-term investment strategy. The role is based at Hut 8's corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida.

Key responsibilities include managing the entire asset lifecycle from commercialization to major reinvestment projects. The director will handle complex commercial obligations such as Utility Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, and Real Estate Contracts to ensure optimal economic outcomes. Additionally, the role involves translating infrastructure performance into clear financial results for the executive team.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in energy infrastructure, utilities, or power generation. Expertise in financial modeling, underwriting, and managing capital deployment for large-scale assets is essential. Significant experience in negotiating and managing power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, energy-related regulatory compliance, and real estate contracts is also required. A history of leading multi-site portfolios with a focus on optimizing cost structures and enhancing revenue is highly desirable.
