Director, Diversity and Inclusion
The Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Example Corp will lead the development and execution of comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies to foster an inclusive workplace culture. This pivotal role reports directly to the Vice President of People and collaborates closely with the executive team to integrate DEI principles across all organizational functions.
Key responsibilities include defining and implementing a cohesive DEI strategy, partnering with internal teams to serve as a DEI subject matter expert, and integrating DEI perspectives into various processes and initiatives. The Director will also support the establishment and growth of internal communities, provide infrastructure for these groups, and promote DEI education throughout the organization. Additionally, the role involves representing Example Corp at industry events and sharing best practices in the DEI space.
Candidates should possess over seven years of progressive experience in People or Human Resources roles, with at least two to three years dedicated to community-building and DEI initiatives. A proven track record in advancing DEI efforts within a growing organization, including the development of Employee Resource Groups, is essential. Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights, experience collaborating with recruiting teams and senior executives, and a background in high-growth environments are highly desirable.
