Director, Drug Product Development
Structuretx is seeking a Director of Drug Product Development to lead our drug product development team. This role is pivotal in advancing our pharmaceutical pipeline, focusing on the formulation and manufacturing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality drug products. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept through commercialization.
The Director will oversee the design and execution of drug product development strategies, including formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up activities. Responsibilities include managing timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The role also involves leading technical discussions, troubleshooting development challenges, and providing guidance to team members.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in drug product development within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong leadership skills, a proven track record of successful product development, and in-depth knowledge of formulation science and manufacturing processes are essential. Experience with regulatory submissions and a thorough understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are also required.
