Director, HCP Marketing and Thought Leader Engagement
Mineralys Therapeutics is seeking a Director of HCP Marketing and Thought Leader Engagement to lead the development and execution of promotional medical education strategies as the company prepares for its first commercial launch. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and is pivotal in establishing Mineralys within the cardio-renal metabolic and hypertension communities.
The Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive promotional medical education platform, including congress strategies, speaker bureau development, national broadcasts, and third-party educational content. Key duties involve leading national and regional advisory boards, developing a structured key opinion leader (KOL) engagement roadmap, and executing non-personal promotional medical educational programs. Additionally, the role includes providing strategic insights into unmet needs and real-world gaps to inform clinical development and life cycle management planning.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech HCP marketing, professional education, promotional medical communications, or thought-leader engagement. Significant experience in building promotional medical education programs, including congress strategy and thought leader engagement, is essential. Expertise in speaker bureau strategy and management, as well as a proven ability to build new capabilities in a launch or high-growth environment, are also required. A bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
The position offers a salary range of $200,000 to $220,000 per year, along with standard company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, time off, and a 401(k) plan. Participation in Mineralys incentive plans is contingent on achieving personal and company performance goals.
