Motive is seeking a Director of Networks Sales & Account Management to lead the strategic direction and operational execution of complex account structures. This high-impact leadership role focuses on driving expansion and retention within Motive’s "Network" customer base—entities operating via a "Parent" relationship with a vast, distributed network of associated businesses such as franchises, portfolio companies, independent contractors, and channel partners. The Director will oversee a high-performing team of Account Managers responsible for maximizing Net Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

Key responsibilities include directly managing second-line and frontline managers, motivating and coaching them to achieve quarterly targets and strategic business objectives. The Director will develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored for "Parent/Child" account models, ensuring that as the Parent company grows, Motive accelerates adoption across their independent contractors and franchises. Collaboration with Sales Operations and Finance is essential to manage the unique billing and onboarding complexities inherent in network accounts, refining processes to efficiently manage "long-tail" entities.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in SaaS sales, account management, or customer success, with at least 4 years in leadership roles. Demonstrated success in leading Commercial or Mid-Market customer segments with complex deal cycles and strategic renewal motions is required. Strong operational acumen and proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, AI tools, forecasting models, and pipeline analytics are essential. Experience with value-based selling, solution consulting, and multi-product growth motions is also necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across the organization are critical.

Compensation for this remote role varies by location. In the Bay Area, California, the on-target earnings (base pay plus commissions) range from $240,000 to $330,000 USD. For other locations in the U.S., the range is the same.
