About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Legal / Head of Legal to serve as the company’s primary in-house legal partner during an important growth phase. This role is designed for a seasoned commercial SaaS lawyer who enjoys breadth, ownership, and pragmatism — someone who can move quickly, exercise judgment, and scale legal processes without over-engineering.

What you'll do

Commercial & Product Legal

- Own and negotiate SaaS commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, partner agreements, reseller and marketplace contracts

- Advise on product terms, pricing models, and go-to-market motions

- Support procurement and vendor contracting

- Balance speed and risk appropriately for a high-growth SaaS business

Privacy, Security & IP

- Support privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in partnership with Security and Product

- Review and manage DPAs and security addenda

- Advise on IP matters, licensing, open-source usage, and product development issues

Employment & People Legal

- Advise on employment matters (U.S. and limited international), including policies, employee agreements, and terminations

- Partner closely with HR on people-related legal questions

- Manage immigration/EOR-related issues as needed (via outside counsel)...
