Director of Operational Finance
Mitratech, a global leader in legal, risk, compliance, and HR software solutions, is seeking a Director of Operational Finance to join their team. This role is integral to the company's mission of empowering professionals to maximize productivity, control expenses, and mitigate risks. The Director will serve as the primary finance partner for a specific business division, collaborating closely with the division's CEO and leadership team to drive financial strategy and performance.
In this position, the Director will be responsible for translating corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) standards into division-specific execution, ensuring consistency across divisions. They will assist in shaping the annual budget, incorporating divisional context and priorities, and support forecasting updates, performance tracking, and operational improvements. Additionally, the Director will identify and escalate critical items, risks, and variances, and work to resolve them in partnership with divisional leaders.
The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, business finance, or finance partnering, including time in a SaaS business. A strong understanding of SaaS metrics, such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), bookings, retention, and margin, is essential. The candidate should possess excellent financial modeling and variance analysis skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to senior business leaders. Experience in a private-equity-backed company is also preferred.
