Director of Operations
Ledbetter Cowan Law Group, based in Venice, FL, is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and enhance the firm's operational framework. Specializing in Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration, and Business & Corporate Law, the firm is committed to providing personalized legal solutions and building lifelong client relationships. Under the leadership of Managing Partner Steven Ledbetter, the firm is focused on scaling its operations and fostering a high-accountability culture to support its growth objectives.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced operational infrastructures to support the firm's projected growth and efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as managing partnerships with bookkeeping and CPA services. The role also involves implementing comprehensive KPI tracking systems, optimizing operational workflows, modernizing the technological stack, and overseeing HR functions to align personnel decisions with strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of independently leading operations in a professional services setting, with strong financial acumen in budgeting and P&L management. They should possess the ability to make independent decisions, think strategically, and provide well-reasoned recommendations to firm leadership. Experience in building scalable systems and a background in professional service operations, such as legal, medical, or property management environments, are preferred. This role requires on-site engagement, emphasizing collaboration and direct interaction with colleagues.
