Director or Senior Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications

The Director or Senior Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's communication strategies to effectively engage with investors, analysts, media, and the broader financial community. This position is based in South San Francisco, CA, and offers a hybrid work environment.

In this role, the incumbent will collaborate closely with the executive team and product groups to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy. Key responsibilities include preparing press releases, managing the corporate website, overseeing quarterly earnings filings, organizing investor conferences and roadshows, and ensuring all communications are aligned with regulatory standards. The position also involves translating complex scientific data into compelling narratives that resonate with the investment community.

Ideal candidates should possess a strong background in investor relations and corporate communications, with a proven ability to craft strategic communication plans and materials. Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, are essential. A deep understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements governing investor communications is also important.
