Director, Technical & Operational Revenue

Motive is seeking a Director of Technical & Operational Revenue to lead and manage the revenue accounting team, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth and expansion.

The Director will oversee the revenue close process, provide technical accounting guidance on complex contracts, and maintain the company's revenue recognition policies. They will also partner with the Deal Desk team to structure contracts and collaborate with Sales, Order Management, Legal, and Product teams to provide revenue guidance on the company's product portfolio and business models.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 7+ years of revenue recognition experience (including 5+ years in a managerial role), and a strong background in ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. Experience with enterprise systems such as Netsuite, Salesforce, and RevPro is preferred. A CPA certification and public accounting experience are also desirable.
