The Docketly Coverage Operations Specialist at ABC Legal Services is a remote position focused on managing court hearing coverage through scheduling, dispatching, and real-time coordination. Docketly, a subsidiary of ABC Legal Services, specializes in providing appearance counsel by matching local attorneys with large firms needing coverage for short, procedural hearings nationwide. This role is integral to ensuring seamless attorney coverage and supporting client communication in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and dispatching attorneys for high-volume daily hearings, managing real-time scheduling changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage gaps, confirming assignments, and maintaining constant communication with attorneys to ensure timely arrival and completion. The specialist will also maintain accurate scheduling data across dispatching and CRM systems, track coverage metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to dispatch workflows.
Candidates should possess a solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical savviness, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to function in a fast-paced and innovative environment are essential. Experience in team building, phone sales, instruction, education, coordination, or similar duties is helpful but not required. Legal experience or education is also beneficial but not mandatory.
