Wilson Elser, a leading defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices in the United States, is seeking an e-Billing Administrator for their New York office. Founded in 1978, the firm is recognized among the top 100 law firms by The American Lawyer and 36th in the National Law Journal’s survey of the nation’s largest law firms. The e-Billing Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the electronic billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of client invoices.

In this role, the e-Billing Administrator will be responsible for executing electronic submission of client invoices via various e-billing middleware systems, identifying and resolving issues during the invoice submission process, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and administrative staff to maintain compliance with client e-billing requirements. Additional duties include tracking the status of submitted invoices to ensure payment, maintaining an internal database of e-billed clients and their compliance requirements, and assisting with partner and client inquiries in a timely manner.

Candidates should have at least one year of e-billing experience within a corporate law department or law firm, with proficiency in BillBlast. Knowledge of legal billing and middleware systems such as Legal Exchange, TyMetrix 360, Legal-X, and Serengeti/Legal Tracker is advantageous. Familiarity with various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is also beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients are essential.

The compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000 USD annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
