Ecosystem BD (DeFi/ L1) - APAC remote
Hyphen Connect is seeking an Ecosystem Business Development professional to drive the growth of high-impact DeFi protocols within their Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem. This role is pivotal in expanding the platform's presence in the decentralized finance space, focusing on integrating top-tier projects and real-world asset initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and recruiting leading DeFi projects, including those in lending, automated market making, derivatives, and yield aggregation, to build on the chain. They will guide these projects through the deployment lifecycle, from smart contract interaction to mainnet launch, ensuring seamless technical onboarding. Additionally, the role involves advising ecosystem projects on liquidity provision, cross-chain bridging strategies, and asset management to foster a healthy, liquid on-chain environment. The candidate will also lead the integration of tokenized real-world assets, ensuring compliance and technical compatibility with the platform's infrastructure.
Applicants should have 3–5 years of professional experience in the Blockchain/Web3 space, specifically within ecosystem development, technical business development, or solutions architecture. A deep understanding of DeFi primitives, including automated market maker mechanics, liquidity mining, lending protocols, and cross-chain interoperability, is essential. The role requires hands-on technical knowledge to assist projects with deployment, including an understanding of smart contract logic, APIs, and blockchain data analysis tools. Experience working for or with a top Layer 1 or Layer 2 project is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across APAC and European time zones.
