The eDiscovery Specialist at TRU Staffing Partners plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end eDiscovery process for clients, ensuring the efficient and defensible handling of electronically stored information (ESI) in support of litigation, investigations, audits, and regulatory requests. As part of a dynamic team, the specialist collaborates closely with legal counsel, IT professionals, and external vendors to uphold data integrity and compliance throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of ESI. The specialist coordinates with various stakeholders to process and analyze large datasets, configure and manage eDiscovery platforms, perform keyword searches, data filtering, deduplication, and culling, and prepare productions in required formats. Additionally, the role involves ensuring defensibility and chain of custody, supporting legal holds and data preservation activities, providing reporting and status updates, and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in IT, Legal Studies, or a related field, with at least 5 years of eDiscovery experience. Proficiency with platforms such as Relativity, Exterro, Nuix, and Microsoft Purview is essential. A strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) framework and data privacy and compliance requirements is also required.
