EMEA Senior Counsel – Northern region

The EMEA Senior Counsel – Northern Region will serve as the primary legal advisor for Berlin Packaging's operations in the Northern European markets, including the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic countries. This role is integral to the company's legal team, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with regional laws and regulations. The position is based in Berlin, Germany, and reports directly to the General Counsel.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, such as supply agreements, distribution contracts, and service agreements. The Senior Counsel will also manage legal disputes, oversee compliance programs, and collaborate with various departments to mitigate legal risks. Additionally, the role involves advising on corporate governance matters and supporting mergers and acquisitions within the region.

Candidates should possess a law degree and have at least 7 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on commercial contracts and compliance. Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry is preferred. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German or other European languages is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.
