Unite Us is seeking an Employment Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance department. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance on employment, litigation, and regulatory matters, collaborating closely with the People Team, Senior Leadership, Legal, and Government Affairs. The Employment Counsel will lead the development and continuous improvement of employment policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and mitigation of legal risks. Additionally, the role includes advising on new and emerging state and federal laws and regulations impacting operations, serving as a subject-matter expert on employment and related compliance issues, and overseeing all affirmative and defensive litigation matters to protect and advance the company’s interests.
