Employment Law Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join their growing Employment Law department in Atlanta, Georgia. The firm, founded in 1988, employs over 6,000 individuals, including more than 1,000 attorneys across the United States.
In this role, the attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, primarily handling the pre-suit phase and assisting senior attorneys once claims are filed. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will also guide clients through the case process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the State Bar Association. Experience with wage and hour claims is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases, demonstrate excellent client service and communication skills, and be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
