Employment Law Counsel
Wiz is seeking an experienced Employment Law Counsel to join its global Employment Law Team, providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment-related issues in Germany and other EMEA territories. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company that is redefining cloud security and empowering businesses worldwide.
The Employment Law Counsel will be responsible for advising internal stakeholders on various labor law and employment matters, including hiring, performance management, terminations, and benefits. Key duties include drafting and negotiating employment agreements, developing company policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws, and overseeing employee disciplinary actions and investigations. The role also involves collaborating with HR and other legal counsels on projects such as incentive plans, organizational restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
Candidates must be licensed attorneys in Germany with a minimum of five years of experience as in-house legal counsel in a high-tech or technology company, focusing on labor and employment law. Strong knowledge of contract, commercial, and data protection/privacy law is essential, along with experience handling employment litigation and advising on employment matters in international markets, particularly within the EMEA region. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
