Engineering Manager, Growth Engineering
Chime is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Late Stage Experience team within Growth Engineering. This team focuses on enhancing the experience of existing members who regularly use Chime's services and have built trust over time. The goal is to deepen these relationships by providing additional value, benefiting both the members and the business.
In this role, you will lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute growth strategies, drive experimentation by building systems to test and iterate quickly, and make decisions on speed versus durability in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will contribute to technical direction and architecture decisions that support scalable growth and help shape the roadmap and long-term vision for Growth Engineering.
The ideal candidate has experience managing engineering teams focused on growth, conversion, retention, or other consumer product challenges. You should have a strong track record of running experimentation programs, including test design and analysis, and partnering with Product, Design, and Data teams to drive data-informed decisions. Experience in hiring and growing engineers in fast-moving environments and a bias toward ownership and action over process are also essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $199,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
Chime offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, encouraging employees to see themselves as stewards of the mission to help everyday Americans achieve financial progress. The company values boldness, collaboration, and integrity, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
