Enterprise IT Intern, Summer 2027 (Hybrid, NYC)
MEMX, a technology-driven exchange operator, is seeking an Enterprise IT Intern for Summer 2027. This hybrid role, based in Midtown Manhattan, offers hands-on experience supporting the technology needs of employees across U.S. equities and options exchanges. The internship provides an opportunity to learn about IT support, system setup, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
As an Enterprise IT Intern, you will work alongside the Enterprise IT team to support employees with everyday technology needs. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining laptops, accounts, and applications, assisting with support requests, and contributing to IT documentation and projects tailored to your experience and the team’s needs. This role offers exposure to IT support and workplace technology, providing valuable experience in the field.
To be eligible, candidates must be current undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. An interest in IT support and workplace technology, along with experience solving technical problems through coursework, projects, prior work, or personal interests, is required. Candidates must also be able to work in person at the Midtown Manhattan office during the summer and have permanent residence in one of MEMX’s approved states for remote work during the internship.
The internship offers a pay rate of $30 per hour for undergraduate students. As part of the summer internship program, you will have access to learning opportunities such as Lunch & Learn sessions, professional development workshops, and relevant courses. Mentorship and support are provided through a designated mentor and buddy system. Interns will also have the chance to connect with colleagues through social events and receive regular feedback to discuss progress and receive support. Future opportunities for internship extensions or full-time positions after graduation are considered based on performance and business needs.
