Executive Personal Injury Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting consumer rights, is seeking an Executive Personal Injury Paralegal to join their Detroit, Michigan office. This role involves close collaboration with a lead attorney and legal assistant, offering an opportunity to be fully immersed in the firm's operations and gain direct experience alongside the team.

The Executive Personal Injury Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Additional duties include e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, communicating with clients, courts, and counsel, conducting legal research, preparing discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and assisting with trial preparation. The role also involves performing administrative tasks like calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.

Candidates should possess at least two years of litigation experience, with a preference for those who have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. An associate degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to manage a workload with minimal supervision, are also required.
